  I had a lunch box special. First time here. It was amazing. I’ve had sushi all over from Vancouver to San Francisco and this ranks up with the best of them. From the delicious ginger salad dressing to the crisp golden tempura. Try the delicious green tea, its a matcha with real crisp golden rice. Little did i know this gem was right around the corner from my community of Kincora! Very affordable and large portions are just icing on the cake. Highly reccommended.

  The old Taiyo was not bad, I would say 3.5 or 4 out of 5. They recently switched owners about a year ago in Dec 2016 and you could tell the portions were significantly smaller than before. I had take out a few days ago (Roll Combo) and it tasted way below average and it actually tasted funny / bad. I ordered at 5pm on a Sunday so Im not sure if I got all the leftovers from the previous day. Got sick the next morning so Ill never be back. Its too bad since the old owners had a good thing going and these guys are located in an area with expanding neighborhoods all around.

  Went there for the third time. I ordered the deluxe sashimi. It was very fresh and quality sashimi. I also ordered the shirmp tempura. It was bigger than other places that I tried it at. Was good. Service was also good. Will try korean BBQ next time I visit.
