Place is cute little standalone pub. Owners have had some changes in management and they are great people. It looks like they’ve had some bad luck, but supporting local is what makes Calgarians great. Don’t pass this spot up.The menu has changed into multiple iterations, but I had a clubhouse for lunch with a cold keiths. Can’t ask for much more than that when you’re in a rush, so I was satisfied.

My parents and I stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite and some drinks on the patio – we weren’t disappointed. The service was good (although there was only one other table besides us) and the beer was cold. My dad had a burger, my stepmom had a breakfast hash-type dish and I had the potato skins and some calamari. All were very good, and the potato skins had guacamole in the bottom of the skin, which was a surprising but perfect addition. After the last couple of dives that shut down in this location, Atikus seems to be one that may actually stay for a while. I’m glad, because we live a few minutes up Elbow and we’ll be back.
