Huge space with a great patio – got a little chilly in the late evening so the heat lamps would have been a nice addition if they were turned on. It was wing night ($0.35) and the flavours were really good, but the wings were pretty tiny. Our server was great, but very busy and was nice to hear live music. hipkineatsthings.com
Murder mystery nightI show up early with plans to attend and wife is a little behind. Asked about tickets as I watched and listened to people come up and pay for tickets that they had put on hold and some that they put on hold and they didn’t want anymore.I talked to the bartender who says the tickets are sold out. In fact they aren’t sold out just promissed out. They told me the boss is the only one that knows about the murder mystery night so he has to talk to me. Boss says he didn’t allow tickets to be promised out but they did and he has to wait to the last minute before he can let them go. This is really not good as I don’t usually make a plan B when I take my wife out and I am now stuck with nothing unless this guy comes through.Wife texts me she will be here in few minutes and I look at my watch and it is 5 min after the start of the event. I go upstairs and see that everyone is seated the curtains and closed and they have started. I go back down and sit down again and waiting to hear from the boss but no one comes. Non of the staff know what is going on but the boss and he is not around. Wife arrives in the parking lot and is getting ready to come it but I still don’t have tickets and there is no boss to be seen..1) Putting tickets on hold2) Staff know nothing 3) Boss doesn’t know that tickets were held on peoples word but they were sold out because of it.4) Boss promises to let me know at the last minute if there is extra tickets but the event starts and boss doesn’t come by.5) The website did

Now I am stuck for Ideas and we are there in cruise ship cloths and with no place to go that matches the attire. This is a let down and I told the bartender that I have lived in this area 45 years and seen many businesses come and go in this location. I told her that I will not let this happen to me twice. I am not happy with how poorly this event was organized
