Came here for a group lunch with my friends. The only thing good is how fast the food came out and the tablet order system. It’s almost 20 dollars just for ayce lunch. The sushi was mediocre, raw fish was sliced thin and any roll with imitation crab in it contained sticks of imitation crab( as usually California roll based rolls have the crabsticks minced and seasoned with sesame oil etc in other places). The teriyaki chicken had an odd gelatinous sauce that coagulated on the plate with the dry,cold chicken. The soy sauce used was not for sushi,but the regular heavier kind. Pad thai tasted like it was made with Chinese sweet and sour sauce, resembling nothing of a pad thai. Server did not speak English and couldn’t serve us properly until my friend conversed in Korean with her.
Went here to try something different with a friend.First off the place is really dirty. The fans on the ceiling have black around them, the floors were dirty, everything was covered in dust. The place needs a SERIOUS deep clean. We got rolls and some sushi, some of the sushi we didnt even eat. It was dry, the tuna had a weird yellow tinge to it. Some of the fish had an odd smell to it.I would not go back, we left lunch preparing ourselves to have food poisoning, which has never happened to me before. If we could rate this place a zero or lower I would.
Been here many times. I keep coming back for the price and convenience of all you can eat. iPad ordering is a great gimmick and although the staff clearly struggles with communication, they do try. Its pretty hit or miss, some days are great and some are horrible. Theres better variety at night for a larger price tag. Try the basil shrimp or chicken.
Very similar to sushi one but good options and good sushi. Quick and easy service and you can pick your own food. And keep ordered if you’re still hungry. Will be back as we live down the block.
Be aware when you pay! They include 15% tip in bill and nobody tells that (they are not bringing bill to your table). Don’t add another 15% when you pay!
Worst food ever…. the fish just taste outdated and not fresh. Will not recommend for anyone. Service is broader line. Not a great place to dine
Reasonable pricing for sushi buffet in Calgary with quite a variety of options! The service wasn’t that good but it was quick and the food was fresh.
