Went here on a hangover morning for lunch and I tell ya… was it good!! I had the nachos with sweet pork and the tortilla soup while the boy got a chicken burrito. I thought it was just as good as the Calgary Mexican restaurants however at a fraction of the price. Will be returning for sure.
Awesome!!! Love the sweet pulled pork burritos!! Yummy! Huge portions and freshly made tortillas. I love the medium salsa, with sweet and a hint of spicy. I like that they have a kids meal available as well. I will definitely be back!
My husband and I used to eat here at least once a week, but started hesitating when the prices went up. The one good thing I will say is that they consistently have very friendly and attentive staff. The food is still better than other places, but for the price I’ll gladly go to a sit-down restaurant.
Okay, I don’t say this often but this place is actually just awesome!I was not expecting much for a chain type Mexican place (thinking it was going to be like Taco Time..) but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only is the food just fresh and tastes good, it was cheap. Mexican food in Calgary is so expensive it’s insane. This place isn’t trying to be anything it’s not, and the staff was really friendly. Obviously it’s not going to be like eating food in Mexico, but it was pretty damn good.
Fell in love with this place a couple years ago.. We live close and the amazing food made this a go to place for us! Unfortunately lately the service quality has gone down.. They constantly run out of items every time we go, it takes a long time, and they often make mistakes with our orders. We’ve still been loyal customers despite this because the food is great. Recently however, they raised all of their prices. $9.99 for ONE enchilada?! With the combination of worse service and rising prices well be switching back to mucho burrito!
This place is way underrated. It’s my favorite Mexican place in Calgary because of how fresh and tasty their food is. Their portions are huge and prices are reasonable. Love their tres leches and I’ve never had a better flan dessert anywhere else! Staff is hard working and friendly, and they keep the restaurant clean and well maintained.
Fresh, amazing, addicting. Friendly staff, flexible menu options. Amazing sweet pork. I love the atmosphere and the food! Pico is a must!!!
