The portion was so small I thought that I had ordered off the children’s menu. My son’s burger was burned on the edges. My wife’s quesadillas were very small. Meal very expensive for what we received. Restaurant was dark and over air conditioned. Staff was nice. Sorry but we are not coming back. Too bad Jack Astor’s used to be a great restaurant.
I’ve been there a couple times now and will not likely go back. The food is pretty average, nothing special. But the service is substandard. Too long of waits. Seemingly too short on staff or just disorganized.
Atmosphere is great. Our server was great. Paid a pretty penny for Well below average food served cold. Will choose a place that cares about the food that hits their guests table next time.
Used to work close by so would come here for drinks after work with friends. Their Cajun shrimp Mac and cheese is so tasty with just the right amount of heat so that you can still taster everything. Drinks are a bit expensive so I usually just end up getting whatever cheap beer is on tap or on special. Wait staff is hit and miss. Some are great, others you’d wish would just quit their job already.
Great service. Others helping out our server – all attentive. Unfortunately the food was cold. Not that busy inside not out, so not sure why.
Inattentive wait staff three times in a row and the quality of food isn’t worth the price. There are plenty of good restaurants to choose from in the Macleod area, and this is not one of them.
They seem to have forgetten what made them so popular or they are just poorly attempting a face lift of the brand but either way they need figure out if they are a family resturaunt or a sports bar a mexican resturant or a burger joint…. the pan bread will always be top notch though!
