Absolute disaster this place is. Place was absolutely dead and apparently the bartender plays server. The guy was either high or drunk, most likely both. About 3 customers in the bar and it took this idiot about 20 minutes to finally come over and ask if we wanted food. Told him to beat it and we left some cash on the table for the beers. This place was always known as a shit hole and have no idea how they stay in business. I guess the shitty Mtley Cre cover bands that play on Friday nights keep them a float. Or they’re running drugs out the back…I suspect the latter.Don’t go here.
New Menu and looking great. They just updated their menu and I have to say that it was a change for the great.. had their Lasagna and it was awesome. If you’re a fan of Boston Pizza, then they have some competition. Great price and very generous with their portion and the amount of meat. When I was done, I still had a table spoon of meat and of course, the friendly staff behind it. Spoke to the manager, and he advised me that they switched their cooks. You have to come in and check out their new menu. You won’t be disappointed.
What service?. Sat for 7 minutes (or more, I stopped looking at the time after 7 minutes) and she finally took my order. When she dropped my wings off,she practically tossed the basket on the table and dashed away without a word or glance. Wings were very dry and salty for a Mango Chipotle…if there was any mango in that, it was baked off. Buh bye,so long and see ya never after a steady decline of quality over the past year
My group and I headed here to celebrate a birthday (& do some stampede partying) they reserved us a nice section so we could have guaranteed tables (nice!) our waitress Sara was really great and attentive pretty sure no one in my group went thirsty!!My only complaints….no air conditioning (it was sweltering in there & only got worse as the place filled up)My dry ribs were COVERED in salt and totally in edible & the women’s washroom had only 4 stalls and 1 didn’t have a door on it!! I would think getting a door installed would have been a priority especially with Stampede crowds….we all had a pretty great time as the band did a great job entertaining after the UFC fights finally ended.Dance floor was really to small..but all around a pretty okay place to party!

Dissapointing!!. My wife and I used to love this pub before we had our little guy, then we stopped going because of him. They used to have really good wings(regular wings on wing night and huge breaded ones on any other night), this changed a while agom but… it was still ok. We went about a month ago to have some drinks and noticed that the pub was not as busy as it used to be and today september 6, 2013 I realized why. Pick up a take out order, steak sandwich and fish and chips. The pub wasn’t busy at all, there were 15 people(maximum), none of them was having food(just drinks). After I ordered the food I had to wait almost 30 minutes for my food. That wasn’t all, when I got home I realize that the salad that I was having was all bad(the lettuce all brown, cucumber all dry and cover in mold). I took it back. Then my wife found out that the fish and chips that she was sharing with my kid was not cooked!!!! Took it back as well, but this time I talked to the manager(a girl mid-late 30’s, with short hair) and she got upset when I showed her the food and asked her for my money back!!REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE!! NOT GOING BACK AGAIN!!
Wow, apparently I am a walking wallet. We arrived with a group of at least 65 and they served us for a while. shortly before 1 they closed the bar and proceeded to use sirens to make us leave. seriously, it was very disrespectful as nobody had caused any problems. hard to say if it was staff or management that allowed this behavior but it was extremely insulting. just after, and we are talking minutes, they stopped taking money they proceeded to use crowd control tactics to make us leave.NEVER GO THERE WITH A GROUP OR FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. there are others in the area. As a pub it’s average at best and if they treated me like a human I would be OK with it as it’s just around the corner from my house. they seem more interested in bar receipts and tips than the pub so let them have it. I’d say go to 1600, it’s not far.
