This is a nice little pub IF you are not hungry. Have been there several times and every time the food is disappointing. If you must eat stick with the standard steak sandwich or burger although be prepared to be disappointed by the overly-salty shoe string fries.The last time I went there I tried the tempura broccolini – over done, the sauce all over it was over-powering and I wish I had taken a picture of these huge strands of the vegetable – basically inedible. The garden salad is standard out of the bag, the deli meats sandwich (I forget the name) is disgusting. The menu shown in the picture is not current.
Very good service, waitress was fast and friendly. Clean environment, seated and drinks were ordered immediately. The food came out very fast and the steak sandwich was delicious. Another essential item to the meal was the Caesar salad, very good. Will return!
Had time to kill after arriving early at Carriage House Inn to set up for a wedding so we headed to Peanuts. Was impressed with their 25 cent wings – enough flavors to choose from and good sizes. Stop in on Saturdays if you’re looking for cheap wings and good atmosphere!
