Great fahitas with beef. They told us it would be 15 minutes and it was. The $14 plate had beef and veggies with bean dip and Salas guac and sour cram and she said we could have side refills! We had an extra guac and tortillas. Super nice and it was a full plate.
Sabores is a nice Mexican find in the Market on Macleod. At prices between $10 to $15 you can get an extremely filling meal and individual tacos are reasonable at $4 each.Honestly, the burritos and enchiladas are huge and topped with a lot of ingredients and sauces, so there’s good flavour in their dishes and they’ll leave you full.I do have a concern about consistency. While the meats and sauces are satisfying, sometimes I’ll find the tortillas to be a bit dry.But for a small Mexican place in a farmer’s market, they’re a pretty good bet. Friendly staff ready to suggest their best meals and when other vendors are busy, Sabores can get the food out pretty quickly.
Outstanding food!!! I have eaten here at least 20 times in the past year.I love the fresh salsa’s, guacamole here and the food…tacos, soups, burritos are all excellent. However, my favorite is the mole enchiladas.
Great food. Adrian the owner is always there to give you the best service. All their food is prepared there and everything is amazing and tasty, but the most important is REAL MEXICAN FOOD.

I only say I like it because there is not an it’s OK button. I did not experience the same level of awesome service that some did. It was just OK. I had the steak tacos which were OK and the tortilla soup which was ……. You guessed it OK. We are lucky here in SW calgary to have a few choices for Mexican and this one won’t be on my short list.
Second Time Here. And just as nice as the first. From what I can tell (and the little I know of Mexican food) this place seems to create food with love. Yesterday I got a thin omelette wrapped around rice and beans with guacamole and salsa roja. Mmm! It was a beautiful combination and quite filling as well. The people who work here are so friendly it’s always a treat to come back. (They also sell some really nice tortillas and nachos: handmade!)
