Went today for my husband’s bday. We ordered 4 rolls which were 5 pieces per order for $9 on average. We got the lobster roll, fire dragon roll, seafood wrap and spider roll. Even though the portion size was a bit small they were all very tasty. Also got green tea for two at $3. Because it was his birthday we also got big piece or red velvet cake for free. All in all spent $40 plus tip. The server was really good effecient as well. So no complaints other than the portion size.
I’ve never heard of this place before coming for a birthday dinner. There’s a private area in the back enclosed off with a curtain so it’s a great place for a private party. The food was actually really good and well priced. I think we had only the one server helping our party and some guests could sense her annoyance near the end when we had cake cut. They offered the rest for the staff to have and she kind of rolled her eyes at them. I guess they don’t get these types of offers often? I dunno…but at other establishments they really take kindly to the gesture of free dessert for the staff. Anyway…I’d still recommend Sho for Japanese food. In fact, I would probably come here just for dinner on our own time.
