Had the Bruschetta and Caesar salad to start. Bruschetta was good and the Caesar fine but it could have used a bit more dressing. The mains were pasta with chicken. The pasta was really good but the chicken tasted reheated and detracted from the pasta. Otherwise an ok spot but not as good as we had hoped for. I expect that meatless pasta would have been a better choice for us.

The food and service are amazing! Have been here numerous times and the food is consistently tasty! Service is fantastic. The risotto is amazing. Even the gluten free pizzas taste very good!

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant that I have driven past dozens of times. I stopped in with a friend after doing some shopping and came right in time for happy hour: great specials for food and drinks! The food was tasty, portioned well and our server was fantastic.

Tried the linguini pescatore today. Some of the shellfish was a bit smallish, but hey, its Calgary. The wine sauce was delicious, as was the linguini. Definitely returning. **Return we did. Had the tortellini, its very good.

The bruschetta here is fantastic, and that’s coming from someone who is asked for her bruschetta recipe whenever I serve it. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, it was pretty good for a staple food. I really enjoyed the sauce, however, it wasn’t spicy enough for my tastes. I added a ton of chilli flakes and that brought it up.My friend had the margarita pizza and said it was pretty good.

What a cozy restaurant! I went here yesterday with a friendand had a spectacular experience. We started with the bruschetta, and then ordered the parma funghi pizza and beet risotto to share. Everything was cooked well and had great flavor. The server was prompt and friendly. We would definitely recommend checking out Toscana!

I’ve been meaning to write a review on this place for a month now, and I haven’t remembered to until tonight. This was probably one of the worst experiences at a restaurant I’ve had in Calgary. Myself, my husband and four of our friends went here for dinner late afternoon on a week day (can’t remember which day exactly). The biggest thing I can say is if you’re thinking about eating here.. keep on driving and go to Chiantis. The biggest thing was the service. I have NEVER had a server be so off putting, unaccommodating and rude to us before. I don’t know what her name was. It wasn’t even busy in the restaurant, so she really had no excuse for how she treated us. There was maybe 5 other tables with people, who all got served before us and got water before us even if they were sat after us. She never once came by to ask how our food was, we never got bread until we had to ask the manager walking by and then they barely gave us enough for one piece each, and only once came by to refill our water (and it wasn’t even her, it was the manger again..) We ordered a $30 appetizer platter to start and I kid you not it was enough for like 1 bit each, and it wasn’t even that tasty. To top it off, when we asked for the bill, we asked for the appetizer platter to be split 3 ways (so basically $10 of it one each bill) and she was SO rude to us about it and told us she flat out wouldn’t do that.. I’ve worked in the service industry for 6 years and there is no reason at all she couldn’t have done it for us. We were all so upset when we left and felt totally ripped off.
