This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. I’ve had almost everything on the menu (used to be located a few blocks away). The stuffed jalapeos appetizer is my favorite dish (eat like tacos). I’ve also had and loved the enchiladas including the mole option and the tacos are great as well. The staff are wonderful and always remember you if you’re a repeat customer. I will be coming here for years to come. And try the Horchata!
Went here with a group on Saturday for dinner. The service was slow, unknowledgeable, and incompetent. Waited about 20 minutes for a pin colada that was made with store bought pre mix. Everything tasted like it came from a can or a bucket. Our entire group was sick with food poisoning not 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant. I would never eat here again even if you paid me.
Good, authentic Mexican. How in the world, Costa Vida, a franchise based on Chipotle, is ranked higher, is beyond me. You reviewers wouldnt know good, authentic food if it jumped up and bit you. You all have Starlite ranked as the best Italian in the neighbourhood… which is insane. Trust me, Tu Tierra is good! Eat here.
