Good people, good food…
The food is always fresh and the and portions are a good size as well. They are the only restaurant in Lacombe that also offers Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I love both and tried dishes from each.The Vietnamese vermicelli bowl with grilled lemongrass pork was amazingly good. Yum… all the right flavors when you order with the add on flavorings. The Pho has a watery soup base (not rich in flavor) and does not come with the traditional bean sprouts, basil leaves , peanut sauce and hot sauce. If they tweak this and make a good broth and include the extras on the side, they will have excellent soup. The same can be said for the Vietnamese spring rolls, which although themselves were tasty and good, lacked the side of basil leaves to wrap them with and the fish sauce to dip them in. Again it wouldn’t take much effort to get it right. The only Thai dish I had was Mango Shrimp. It was okay. Lots of yummy shrimp but the Mango was not ripe at all and sour. I will try another dish next time. The outside doesn’t showcase what is inside. Inside is clean and nicely arranged. Don’t be put off by the exterior.Friendly and prompt
