Delightfully Delicious. Everything that comes out of the kitchen of this cafe in a historic home is homemade and delicious – soups, sandwiches, quiche, salads, coffee, baking – everything! The surroundings and service are delightful. Highly recommended!
Came in Fri mid-afternoon & got a coffee & their last piece of quiche in about a minute. The place was a-buzz with the chatter of women everywhere. Lovely place. I’ll be back with people in tow.
Peaceful and Comforting. This has become my favourite place to meet with my sisters and just relax. Life has been filled with a mix of tragedy and sadness but this is one place we can try to forget about that. The family serving/cooking at Morrison House Cafe is very warm and the service is fabulous!

Beautiful historic home!. Before the Morrison House Cafe became a cafe, I would always make sure I passed the house on my walking route because it was my absolute favourite house in Lacombe. Once it became a cafe, I was mostly just so excited to finally be able to see inside of it. The experience did not disappoint; it’s as charming inside as outside. The food is delicious and hearty, the best part being their desserts. Awesome rural gem!
Morrison House Cafe. I always joke to Chuck and Cindy that I spend way too much time in their cafe! I can’t help but return though when the food is so delicious, their service is always impeccable, and the cafe is just so darn cute! There are many places in Lacombe a person can go to eat, but you won’t find one that makes you feel at home quite like the Morrison House does. It is truly a wonderful place, with fantastic food, run by terrific people. What a great package!
A lovely cafe, in a lovely home, run by lovely people. Chuck and Cindy are the friendly owners. Cindy is a wonderful cook who makes delicious comfort food. From the wonderful soups and sandwiches to the overwhelming selection of homemade pies, it is always a treat to stop by for lunch. Definitely a great place to have lunch in Lacombe.
