The meal was very fast to come out. However after that the server sat down with her phone for the remainder of my visit. The California toll tasted as if I had just bought it from the grocery store pre made section… however the nigiri was very fresh and yummy! I would give this place a second chance in the future
The location is a bit sketchy. And it used to be great back when. Now it has decreased in quality, quantity, and taste. The service can be mediocre.
Went on Valentines, they ran out of rice of all things. Sashimi was small and the sushi was bland. Tempura was small and greasy, way too expensive for what you get. Save your money, if you want this grade of sushi just go to the deli counter at the grocery store.
Enjoyed the lunch boxes!. We really liked the California rolls and the tempura fried veggies and teriyaki stir fry in the lunch boxes! Great variety for a good price.My son had the chicken burger, didn’t enjoy that quite as much, but it is a Japanese restaurant after all. We would return.
Cook is from Vancouver, BC – he knows his FISH!. I eat here regularly for lunch, and have always had great service and meals. Friendly and always on time. Im from BC myself, and have been spoiled with great sushi – this does compare and the chef is from Vancouver, BC! ENJOY!
Heard bad stuff but tried it myself and it was great. I had a friend of mine tell me that the food was not good but last night my wife and I decided to try it for ourselves. I personal don’t like sushi so I tried there stir fry it was great nice sauce and mmmm the beef. My wife had sushi and said it was amazing and her fav was the deep fried California roll. We will definitely be going back:)
This place used to be amazing. Since the new owners have taken over the quality has significantly gone down, not to mention the sushi sizes are much smaller, while prices have stayed the same. Very disappointed and I won’t ever go back.
