We love stopping in for their daily sandwich specials. The food is always amazing and I cannot help but pick up some of my favourite vinegars and oils while I am there.
Best customer service I’ve ever experienced! The food is awesome as well! Our favourites are the butternut squash stuffed pasta with the mango chutney sauce, and I love the lasagne sheets!
Their sandwiches are the best. You would be hard pressed to find a better sandwich in the city. They are made with ingredients that would make even the most discerning foodie happy. The bread is great and the price is really fair. Definitely worth a visit.
The fresh pasta is amazing and I recommend the curry pasta sauce, wow! Also tried the daily sandwich and it was good too, even though I’m not a big lunch-meat eater.
Converted!!. When is comes to food, I am the plainest person in the world. I hate condiments, dressings, sauces, etc, I want everything PLAIN. For years I have eaten my salads with literally nothing on them because I hate the vinegary taste of salad dressings. I was at the Calgary Farmer’s Market with my mom and Soffritto offered a tasting of their oils and balsamic vinegars. My mom loved them all but I of course said that there was no way I’d like any of them. But the guy at the booth gave it a shot anyways. OMG BLUEBERRY BALSAMIC VINEGAR WITH LEMON INFUSED OLIVE OIL. Thank you for introducing me to this – I now have it on every salad. Life changer 🙂
Great for those who don’t plan well… Love that I can stop in and grab a couple bags of pasta and sauces or a shepards pie etc and dinner is ready 15 minutes after getting home. I have picky kids and there is never any leftovers. Personal favourites are the rotini with mango curry sauce. I just wish I worked closer to take advantage of meatball sandwich lunches.
My goodness. Took home Chef Heather’s classic spinach/ricotta ‘bomb’ shells last night. Huge portion, great price and delicious. Simple & authentic, no fluff. HIGHLY recommend.02 Oct, 2013Yes please.. One of my favourite little eaterys in Western Canada. Olive oil & specialty vinegars, fresh sandwiches, pasta & sauces to go. A MUST visit.
