Such a great little place! The food is delicious. It’s a bit out of the way but worth the trip. It gets busy so get there as early as you can on your lunch hour.
I live in the southeast and this is my go to restaurant for pho. I may even argue that it’s the best in Calgary. Broth is consistently rich and delicious. They always give over generous portions of meat and always fresh ingredients. I have never sat down in the restaurant to eat but staff is always friendly and never lets you wait long before being serviced during pick up. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Doesn’t get any better than this. I’ve tried many other reputable places in town and while they’ve been good, Sunshine is by far the best. I’ve since moved downtown and still make the 30 min drive for a bowl of their pho. Number 21 satay is like crack!! Deep rich broth and incredibly flavourful noodles is what sets this place apart.To the people on here saying that they are rude, who cares, it’s that good it doesn’t even matter. You’re there to eat not to make friends. It’s to the point, you order and enjoy.
I love this place . By far the best veitnameise food I’ve had in calgary , number 43 ftw and If your feeling coragous go for the beef satay noodle soup (personal fav)
Really great pho. Sarah soups are excellent, Verm is also super good. Would recommend. Get the spring rolls! Dumplings are good here as well!
Loved this place! Hubby loves satay beef noodle soup (#29) and they have the best one, hands down, in the city! You can smell the spice and feel your sinuses clearing! It’s that good! Also love their spring rolls on vermicelli (#39a)! Same as anywhere really but so delish!! Huge servings and fair prices! Sit in has amazingly fast service and the staff are very personable and make an effort to get to know their clientele! Restaurant very clean and tidy but not very classy or modern if it’s a special date night, more traditional decor.
The food is good. It’s getting a bit pricey though. Not a fan of the service. The few times we have picked up find them they have been a little rude and a little snobby.
