Donair Poutine and Spicy DonairNorthside friends kept raving about how good this donair poutine was so decided to watch MNF here at the same damn time. First off the poutine was pretty good in flavor, maybe because there was just a ton of meat. Sweet sauce was smothered all over the fries and the meat was tight. Despite the cheese being shreds of mozzarella, it was still good. Could be new level if it had curds imo. One thing that pissed me off though was that gravy cost extra. See when youre selling poutine, this dont make any damn sense. Advertising as poutine should include 3 things, GRAVY, cheese curds and fries. This is like ordering pho and the broth cost you extra coin. Fucking ridiculous. This spicy donair was spicy, but only because it was smothered in hot sauce. Thought thered be more banana peppers or something but this donair was doused in the sauce. So much so that I could barely taste the donair meat flavor. Probably wouldnt get it again but could tell underneath that it was just aight donair imo.Located on 167 ave and 91 st, this place was aight for a donair shop. Service was good and eating inside while listening to Future was nice while watching football. Would go back to try the other donairs as Eddies is an ok option.Sal Says: Just try it (3/5)@han1bal_g says: Donair poutine and donair pizza is 10/10 (best in class for both)Donair was 9/10 before (arguably better than swiss, i thought it was better)but has gotten worse recently for some reason (go swiss instead)@senayyemane says: Donair poutine is money. Overpriced. Money bags. Donair. Meh.#yegeats #yeg #food #foodie #foodporn #foodgasm #foodpics #foodstagram #instafood #delicious #hungry #yummy #dinner #lunch #donair

One of the best donair places!! Lots of meat and sweet sauce.. my fave! The only thing I didn’t like was the guy making my donair was taking orders, taking payments and preparing my donair without gloves or washing his hands the last time I was there. Not sure if it was a onetime thing?

Been ripped off by the owner several times – whether you order a regular or a super size of Donair is the same size and the amount of toppings are literally non existent.

Best donair we’ve had on the North side. Absolutely delicious. Meat is just how we like it spiced well and crispy edges along with the tzatziki & sweet sauces and the fresh veg. To die for. Their garlic wings were also amazing. Customer service was top notch. It was a steady stream of people and Skip the Dishes coming in while we were waiting to get our food. A good sign. Will definitely be returning. Well done #Eddie’s Donair.

I had the opportunity to pop in to Eddie’s on the corner of 167 Ave and 91st St this week. I’m a Swiss girl and UFO in Hollick Kenyon is really good, too, but I was drawn to Eddie’s because of the great reviews here. We ordered the cheese donairs open-face style because we’re both KETO and watching our waistlines. On a layer of lettuce and tomato and onion and banana peppers and pickles was Eddie’s gloriously spiced meat with the most perfectly ratio of crispy edges and delectable donair chewiness and drizzled with just the most sensational garlic sauce! Lordy, I can’t get it outta my head! I’m thinking this might turn into a habit! Can’t wait to return for a repeat performance!

I’m usually a big fan of the Eddy donair, but last time I went there I ordered a large fries (which rings in at a steep 7 bucks?) they honestly tasted like the deep fryer oil hadn’t been changed in months, the donair only half descent too, I’m back on the queen donair

The staff are friendly and the donairs are awesome! They have recently done renovations to the dining area and it shows how much they care about the customer and their product.
