I have been a loyal fan of this restaurant since it first opened years ago. Im sad to report that my last visit a couple of weeks ago was mediocre at best. One of the best things of the meal is their pandan flavoured tea however this was no longer being served. My friend and I both ordered the bun bo hue. We agreed that the broth lacked complexity and flavour. It tasted like a bottle of fish sauce served warm instead. With their focus on rapid expansion in Edmonton and Calgary, my fear is that they are less concerned with maintaining quality at their existing beloved locations. I hope the owners read this as its truly a disappointment to lose a favorite.
Hands down the best pho restaurant in town. No other place can beat this place in Northside. People here are very friendly with good service. It’s never too busy that you have to wait a long time for a table. You have to try their shakes and other deserts as well. Their durian smoothies are so good!
Did you know you can substitute any of the pho with pho sate broth thats what i did i got their #13 (beef brisket, tendon, tripe & crunchy flank) with sate broth They have 4 locations in Edmonton!
What?? I haven’t reviewed my favourite pho place in town yet???! haha. I come here so often the servers probably already know me. I usually get their spicy and sour seafood noodle soup, satay noodle soup, and pho dac biet. All are really good. The only thing I wouldn’t suggest you to order here is their bun bo hue haha. Not good, not spicy at all. We also usually get their spring rolls (idk why it’s so much better here than anywhere else?) and green onion cakes. Their price went up just recently which is sad news, but at least quality and portions stayed the same.
Hands down best Pho in the city besides my mom’s place. Even when she’s craving a bowl of pho this is her go to place. Even mom approves then it’s good. Other than pho the rest of the menu is pretty tasty. The chicken vermicelli bowl is my favorite here. The bun bo hue is tasty but can be a little greasy some nights. Other than that, you won’t be disappointed coming here.
Not the greatest service but it made up for it in good food, and it was actually spicy enough for my partner who hates when restaurants dull the spice for the average white person. Also pretty sure they use MSG, but otherwise it was good.
I give this place a zero very poor customer service not good food at all. I called to make a 10 second pick up order I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and then hung up on I called back to let them know how long they put me on hold for and that I would not be a customer at the restaurant anymore. They then proceeded to call me back at my house multiple times and harass me. Truly unprofessional and inappropriate I could not even believe it. It wasn’t good ever in the first place but I went there every now and then literally just because it’s a couple blocks from home. I most definitely will never go there again.
