I have been a customer at Vegas Donair since the doors opened. Love the Donairs, they are very tasty and generous portions. Poutine is also fantastic. I don’t mind waiting a bit for good food. However, my last trip to Vegas was not good! Waited the same amount of time for food only to get a donair that was microwaved!! Donairs are not supposed to be served that hot. I couldn’t even pick it up for the first several minutes because it was too hot to touch. Having microwaved it made the pita, lettuce and tomatoes very soggy. Not sure if they hired a new cook but…

They have a nice variety of donairs here, I’ll say that much. Quality is hit-or-miss. Often times they are overloaded with sauce and are not wrapped tightly, so it turns into something that no longer resembles a donair. I understand that donair places need to fry up the meat after shaving it to ensure it’s cooked. However, crunchy meat is kind of a turn-off in a donair, and I have had that issue here as well. I can’t speak for much else on the menu, but I assume the donairs are the main seller so they are the one thing that should impress. The flavour wasn’t bad on each of the donairs I tried, they are just a bit sloppy and lacking in execution. I liked the fries, about as good as you’re going to get for frozen fries. Haven’t tried the milkshakes. I’m sure there’s better donair places, but this one is in a convenient location so I’ll probably visit every now and then. The Vegas theme is a nice twist I guess, very bright and flashy interior.

I would have to toot myself as being a bit of a donair expert as I first, love them, but second, my parents have owned successful donair places all over the province. That said, this was my first experience at Vegas donair and it was mediocre. Here’s why;Pros;1. Good clean big place and nicely setup2. Lady cook in the back was very friendlyCons;1. Decent price but a bit high versus other places2. Stingy in veggies; I asked for only tomato and onion and I literally only got 2 little slices of tomatoes and a few slivers of red onion. 3. I asked for light sauce and my donair came back just soaked 4. It too very long. This would be understandable as I requested crispy meat but it wasn’t even crispy.I haven’t tried anything else on the menu (poutines.)I would like to try the chicken there so I will be back for a second experience but they won’t be my go to for donairs.

Fantastic food and poutine. I thoroughly enjoyed the service, food and portion size. My favourite poutine by far, especially with the selection of cheeses available.

I used to go to swiss. Then i started going to Top. Now i go to vegas. Best donairs in the north side right now. Flavourful meat, good thick sauce. The specialty donairs are interesting, i’ve only tried a few of them and they were all good. Still my go to is just the standard donair. Also their poutine is great and uses actual cheese curds!

My favorite to go place for donair now is hands down Vegas Donair and Poutine. I’ve been there a few times now forlunch and super and I have never been disappointed. Their poutines and donairs are delish. I’d recommended everyone to try them. My favorite to have is their Flamingo Donair and Imperial Poutine. The food is great, price is right, ambiance and customer service very good.

I have been twice since they opened. First visit was pretty average donair fare. Second visit the Meat was charred to cinders. If they are not going to worry about quality just after opening i dont see it happening later.I question the credibility of some of the reviews posted already. Hope they get better before they run out of friends to post reviews.
