We love this place and make a point to come here a few times a month. We just came and brought my dad and nephew for a 3 meat feast on a rainy Saturday…so good. We had brisket, chopped beef, chicken, mashed potatoes…so full.
Stopped in for lunch and was really impressed, had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans and a drink. Service was quick and super friendly, even during lunch rush. Sandwich was really good, tender but not mush, you can tell they make it in house. Usually prefer a little more smoke but it was still good, beans were good still had a little bite to them which is just the way I like them. Was it the best BBQ ever, not quite, but I’ve spent a lot more on a lot worse, I drive around the city alot and I would plan my day to hit Cookshack for lunch. It’s a good quality lunch at a fair price. ($13ish pulled pork sandwich, side and a drink)
