Amazing food and presentation!! We tried out a couple of appetizers- the hummus and pita, spinach and artichoke dip (must try!) and the mushrooms. All the dishes were very well plated, designed and tasted amazing! My husband and I ordered the rib eye steak and top sirloin- again we were very impressed considering this is not a specialty (i.e. keg) restaurant. The veggies accompanying the meal was very well presented and shaped in a flower and leaf portraying the artistic side of the dish. Very large portions for sure! We also tried the dessert- I would recommend the cheesecake with the chocolate/coffee caviar. Nice and light to finish off the end of our meal. The restaurant was very modern, and had a great elegance to it. The menu selection was perfect for dinner and it was difficult to make the choices we did because everything looked really tasty! We will definitely be back to eat here – whether we will are passing through to Edmonton or staying at the Holiday Inn itself. Cheers!
I had the Taco trio, it was amazing. The chicken one was done perfect with a great tangy sauce, the fish one was so tender and the shrimp one was very flavourful! I had the hot fudge sundae with brownies as desert, it was also very good! Compliments to the chef.
The compliment sandwich…The food was very tasty. Enjoyed the wasabi infused garnish on the pita and hummus. Added a nice hint of heat. I came as was the highest rated restaurant in the local area. Ordered the ribeye steak and a glass of red wine to pair with it. Out of house red? Ok what other red? None? Completely out of all red wine. Oh the order hasn’t come in yet. Well if I managed or cared I would send a server to the local cold beer and wine to grab a case of anything… Ok moving on. Wrong appetizer arrives. Send back to get correct one. Hummus and pita was great. Main meal comes. Only one side.. Not a big deal, wait for second side to arrive. Pretty sad ribeye.. But flavored were good. Prices somewhat reasonable
If you are in the address go for it.. One of the best pretzel bun burgers I have ever had. Crazy good. They also do some very good work with their salmon dishes. Well above average and reasonable prices to boot.
