Dear owner, get out of the service business. 2 steaks and a salad. Steaks where both cold and not the triple A. With fries coming from under the heat lamp. We returned them and asked for a good tender and hot steak. 15 min. later we got hot new fries and again cold steak. Owner!!! comes to the table and argues with us that the steak is fine… WHAT,?? We eat part and got full bill. Floor manager apologized after we talk to him, the owner showed up, and told us she only charged us for 2 steaks, SERIOUS.!!! With other clients around us she picked a gift card and shuffled it in my hands, wow, so much for understanding that if you screw up,.. you should fix it. …Montana is a great place, pleace replace this owner!!!

Worst Montana’s we’ve ever been to. We’ve eaten at Montana’s in different provinces/cities, and it’s usually pretty crappy. However, we always go back for the pulled pork sandwich that my husband loves! I usually only get the steak because of food allergies.However, this particular Montana’s was the worst we’ve eaten at! We won’t be returning. I’ll start off on a good and note, my meal (steak in a sweet chili sauce) was excellent – best steak I’ve even had at a Montana’s because it was actually cooked right – medium rare. Now onto why we won’t be returning. I’ll start off by talking about the menu fiasco. I have food allergies so I asked for their menu that lists what common allergens are in their products. You’d be surprised to know there is dairy in every single steak, except for the one I had. I asked if it was because it was cooked in butter and no one answered my question (I asked 3 different workers). A lot of the food doesn’t list that it contains certain ingredients that it does – for example their ranch dressing and coleslaw claim they have no dairy… but when I ordered it, they told me it actually does and I had to go back through the menu (lengthy process). Annoyed I accepted a discount on my plate since there was nothing else I could eat. My husband’s pulled pork sandwich was HORRIBLE. The bread was soggy, the pork cold, and half of the crispy onions weren’t even breaded – he said it was really gross. We were offered a discount and refused, instead deciding not to return. The service was friendly but our waitress couldn’t speak very good English and it took a lot longer to order than usual because she couldn’t understand what we were saying. I don’t want to put this as a negative note on my review, but this isn’t the barrier I was expecting from Montana’s, and it left me feeling frustrated as I tried to find something I could eat that won’t leave me sick.All in all we will not be returning. We only came to this restaurant for the one item my husband loves, and since that was a fail we have no reason to return.
