Nightmare in Paradise. Not worth the 5 minute drive. This place tries to be 5-star dining, but they’re only fooling themselves. Basic selection with lack of flavour, and diversity is how I would describe their menu, similar to that of a Smitty’s. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT try any of their salads, unless you are looking for some limp lettuce swimming in a pool of dressing. It’s also safe to say always ask for no salt and pepper when ordering unless you want your meal doused in both. Dining room appears virtually empty, yet dont plan on seeing your server more than one time. Also, don’t plan on asking for any substitutions or requests from the kitchen, I’m sure they’re selling frozen premade meals here. Time after time this place disappoints, will not be returning for a third time.
Perfect Atmosphere, Good Food. The best part about this restaurant is the atmosphere. Unlike every other restaurant in Lethbridge, they do not feel the need to blast 90’s music so loud that you can’t have a conversation with your table, or friends if you don’t like talking to furniture. Quiet, panoramic views of the coulees and golf course, and decently priced food with vegetarian options. One of the better finds in Lethbridge.
I went here for breakfast on Feb 10, 2013 with my wife and parents. I thought the food was okay. The bacon and sausage was good. I didn’t like the eggs very much. The service was good. The restaurant is renovating the main dining room so it was a little cramped. I would probably go back once the renos are done.
