DO NOT EAT THERE. Ordered the Tofu Soup and it had Chicken in it! Refused to take it back and charged me full price ,even though I clearly showed them the chicken. WILL NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN. CONSUMER BEWARE
My favorite Vietnamese Restaurant in town. I love eating at Song Thuan. The food is always consistently good, quick and fresh. My favorite dish is the Salad with either pork or chicken. The sauce turns it into almost a coleslaw type consistency, especially if you have leftovers for the next day (which I always do because they give you lots). I also like the curry chicken with rice and have enjoyed the Dinner for 2 as a great try everything option when dining with a friend.
Fabulous Food!. Went for the first time during Christmas and absolutely loved it! The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right…I’ve been back since and planning my next visit there soon!
Love the number #42!. In the five years I’ve been eating here, my favorite dish has always been delicious, served quickly, and fresh! They increased their prices a while back so I don’t go as often, but I’m always happy when I do! I recommend take-out rather than dine-in, though. Not much atmosphere.
FINALLY good Asian food in Lethbridge. I’ve been craving Asian food for ages now. I’m not a fan of most of the Chinese restaurants in town that I have tried, so this week I thought I would try something different and go the Vietnamese route. GOOD CHOICE. Song Thuan has awesome food at really reasonable prices. Their menu is numbered which makes it easy to order without having to pronounce anything difficult. I ordered the #48 Mi Xao Ga ( Fried chicken with egg noodle) as take-out, and was super pleased. The restaurant looked clean and cozy, and was filled with customers who looked happy. The wait staff were excellent, but not as excellent as the food– definitely the best Asian dish I’ve ever had in Lethbridge. So tasty! Delicious seasoned cooked chicken on a bed of noodles with fried vegetables, just amazing.
Shhhh…. Love this place. One of our best kept secrets. Great quality. Great quantity too!
Have been coming here for years for the 22 soup. My favorite bowl of pho ANYWHERE. Went on a recent pho tour of the highest rated Vietnamese in Vancouver and still didn’t find anything I like as much as song thuan. Ps- you can order any other type of soup with the base of any other type. Do some experimenting!
