I decided to stop in for a couple drinks on the patio, they did not have any specials and service is really slow from the time I asked for bill and actually got to pay was about 25 minutes. The caesar had horseradish in it but lacked a lot of flavour. The grapefruit basil martini was good and refreshing but overpriced.
The food here was absolutely mediocre at best. I’d expect more from this place. The atmosphere was okay…but there was a funky smell in the place.
Brown’s Social House is a solid pub. The food and drinks are decent, and the specials commendable. It’s not going to blow your palate away but it delivers on the basics. Also great staff and I’ve been impressed with the music.
I went down here today on a date. Great Bellini, it tasted like fuzzy peaches! The food was great! I had the Pub burger with pouting, quite large and filling! The waitress kept coming around to se if things were ok. Will be coming here again with my girlfriends 🙂
The food is decent and the service for the most part is pretty good but it is very overpriced for what you get. Also I feel like if you are going to use Cilantro for a garnish, you should tell the customer because it can actually ruin an entire dish. So people who don’t like cilantro, beware. It’s in pretty much everything.
Struggled here as a vegetarian because there are barely couple dishes that are vegetarian or could be made vegetarian, but we ordered whatever little items we could and I must say the food was so amazing which really surprised us as we weren’t expecting anything great. The ambience is okayish but the staff is really friendly. Since it’s a sports bar, and we went on a Saturday night, this place was jam-packed! But with the game playing in the background, the drinks and the food, we had a good time..We ordered a simple margarita pizza, hand cut double cooked fries, a big tofu vegetable rice bowl (known as the dragon bowl) and a Mac n cheese.. the mac n cheese is yummy but very filling, the fries are amazing and so is the pizza. Although i wasnt very satisfied with the size of the pizza, the rice bowl was the star of the evening.. it was just too delicious, enjoyed every bite! The portion was large as well.So I’d give the rice dish a 5 rating but overall a 4. I don’t know how the food otherwise is over here as most of them consist of meat. Really sad to see such low ratings for this place as we atleast had a great experience.
Good food, really good service. Everything was tasty and unique. Ginger beef 5/5, edamame plus spicy dipping sauce 4/5, quesadilla 4/5 dry ribs 4/5. Good drink specials during happy hour as well.
