  We like rustic Italian food & this place does this well. The menu is impressive with so many options to choose from. We’ve tried so many items & enjoyed everything. Flavors are rich & the food tastes like it’s been made thoughtfully & with love. The rating is a 2/5 instead of a 4/5 as professional service is just as important to us as food. It’s a family restaurant & always busy when we are there. Even when it is busy the staff are hardworking, efficient & polite. Sadly the last two times we were in we had unpleasant experiences with our waiter. We wanted to speak with a manager at the time these incidents occurred but were told he wasn’t there. Our waiter (dark hair & earrings) made us uncomfortable by acting unprofessionally & treating us dismissively & impolitely. Both times he neglected our table & served us abrasively & carelessly. The 1st time he used inappropriate language & was very rude & impatient when we asked him for or about something. It seemed like it was a chore for him to serve us, as he slammed down our plates on the table & walked away mid-sentence every time we asked him a question. The 2nd time it looked like he had a full section to take care of but paid little attention to anyone except the table next to us where was asking this lady to go out with him. When she said no he spent his time repeatedly approaching her trying to get her to agree to a date. He was sharing personal details about himself which we thought were distasteful & unsuitable for a family restaurant environment. He used no discretion & spoke so loudly even though there were kids running around & the section was packed. It was nearly impossible to get his attention to order food or to get the tab. He boldly refused to do his job, seeming more interested in getting a date with a customer than actually serving customers food & beverages. After the last incident we left exhausted, thinking we had been in a tasteless pickup bar not the warm & comforting Italian family restaurant we enjoyed so many times. We went back yesterday & made sure we had a different waiter. It was like the good times we had before but we feel differently about the whole place since those two unpleasant incidents.

  Had a great dinner here last night. I had been here before a few times but its been a couple years. Love the friendliness and manners of the staff. Food is simply excellent, all 4 at our table loved their meals, our server was attentive and very helpful with menu questions, helping us narrow down our choices since each of us had trouble choosing from the options that all sound so good. Wont wait a couple years to return this time.

  Always walked by this place but never bothered to go in. First thing I noticed when I walked to my table was there was a smell coming from the kitchen and no it was not a pasta smell it was like a cleaning solution / dirty rag smell. They gave you bread to start your meal, bread was a bit dry and bland. Would have been nice for a garlic butter to be layered on the outside. The actual main took a decent time to come to my table I sat their wondering where it was. Portion sizes are good and waiters are friendly. I got the Linguine with seafood in the white wine. Honestly was not that impressed it was pretty bland. However the Carbonara was good! The meal was decent and I liked it but probably wouldn’t go back again. However was nice to try out. Other guests I went with had the same thoughts. It was good but probably wouldn’t go back again.
