Little eatery with a few tables or you can take out. Friendly owner from Europe will tell you: if you dont like it, bring back, I refund you! Very confident! He is lucky because the pizzas are delicious! Hahaha, personally I prefer 14 inches big pizza as the crust tastes even better. I dont know how they decided the prices, in my opinion, one 14 inches pizza should be slightly cheaper than two 10 inches pizza but actually is more expensive. So far, my favorite pizza is Mamma Mia , will definitely go back to try more different kinds.
A straight 5 out of 5 place, love it. You have to go check it out…I would call it a hidden gem of Calgary. The owners are a very nice couple who have been in the business for a while so they really know what a good pizza should be like 😉
Ordered two calzones. Looked good. Funny it was served with perhaps raw tomato/pizza sauce on the side. Wasn’t too bothered. The calzones had quite a thick crust (around 3-4mm). Very cheesy. Ingredients tasted fresh to me. Don’t understand why the tomato sauce was not incorporated into the calzone as the inside of the calzone lacked any pizza sauce (if there were some, it must have been minimal as I didn’t notice much in there). Very filling (probably because of the copious amounts of mozarella) and good for the price ($10). However, juices started dripping out from the corners, which was sort of off putting. Crust was not as crispy as I anticipated, so that lost a few points. Will I come back again? I want to, hearing such great reviews. Will give them a second chance, by ordering a regular pizza and other items.
