All the buns here are so good and the owners are really nice. One time the owner accidentally dropped a bun on the floor when he was ringing up my items and he gave it to me for free even though I didn’t care because the bun was sealed in a plastic bag. Their sweet potatoe cakes are perfect for a special occasion. They are very moist and not too sweet.
Korean Bakery is definitely a hidden gem! I tried the red bean paste bun and the coconut bun (each $1.89). The red bean paste filling was delicious – rich, silky, and just the right amount of sweetness. The coconut filling was also really good: perfectly sweetened and with nice pieces of shredded coconut. Each bun also had a good ratio of filling-to-bun. My only complaint is that the buns were a tiny bit dry, but that might be from eating them later in the day. I’ll definitely be back to try more!
