Best food ever…every time. .
I had a great first time at the meet on a Saturday, waiting to be seated at the coup. There was a live dj spinning relaxed beats and the atmosphere was very relaxed but upbeat. The elderberry cocktail and spinach croquettes I had were outstanding, will definitely be back. Next time for jazz and charcuterie sunday!
If you weigh over 130 lbs you have no business going here. Besides the small portions, the food was average at best. I had the dragon bowl with curry sauce and I could have easily made something 20x better at home. There was barely any tofu in the bowl.
Meet Me. Meet is the sister lounge adjacent and attached to The Coup. Whether you’re there waiting for your table next door or you’ve stopped in for drinks, this is a quaint and cozy place with an urban vibe. Just like The Coup, remarkably long and clever drink list, along with a tasty appy vegetarian menu. Great location too. Meet early, because it fills quick.
Amazing drinks. Both w and without liquor. Where else can u get a freshly juiced veggie blend spiked with Sambuca? Or spiced rum with cinnamon, anise, coconut water…a whole lotta yummy!
I like the drinks and the music. Good music – if you’re into fairly forward electronica.Good cocktails – if you like interesting drinks with unique flavour and presentation…well worth the money.Speaking of price, a single drink here costs more than what a hippie would spend on the burlap sack they’re wearing. I’m just trying to say that the sophistication of the drink menu belies the somewhat bohemian, nonpretensious vibe of the crowd. And this is a good thing because you get the best of both worlds. I like this place a lot!
My favorite lounge spot on 17th Ave. Hands down. No questions asked. The decor is retro, and the atmosphere is unpretentious and casual, yet still retains the feeling of hip sophistication. I truly do enjoy sitting by the open window in the summer, to people watch while drinking the punchbowl, and snacking on yam fries.
