This food truck was at Market collective today. My friend and I both got the Poutine Perogy. It was good but not worth $14. The issue was that the lady taking our order was not friendly at all. My friend needed to use her credit card and was told that the business gets charged a service fee and the lady serving us asked her to use cash which she did not have. I didn’t have a lot of cash on me and wanted to use interact. The lady was not happy and told me to buy a drink so my bill was higher and more worth the charge of using card. I used cash in the end but was not impressed with how she handled the situation. She came off as hostile and did not seem to want our business if we did not pay in cash. Don’t advertise that you take interact if you don’t want people to use it.
I didn’t really like the food. Didnt seem filling or any unique tastes. Food was fresh and was presented well but maybe I’m just not into the K-sausage and perogies. Won’t be back.
I *LOVE* perogies, so this food truck is always on my radar. The quality of the food is fantastic, but it’s pretty pricey for the portion size! My ‘poutine’ perogies came with 6 pieces, bacon, cheese, and gravy, and for 14$ I would have expected a little bit more. That being said, the perogies were cheesy, the bacon crisp, and the cheese curds were perfect and melty. sakuralovely.wordpress.com
Had the huevos rancheros perogies. Oh yeah!!! They were tasty. Pico de gallo was fresh and flavorful and the perogies were delicious as well! Great job!
SOO GOOD!!. I came here today to eat- I ordered the Nacho Perogies.The service was so friendly and very quick! They give you very BIG portions- so I saved half for later. My cheese perogies were cooked perfectly- not too hard not too soft, the ooey gooey cheese was perfectly melted! The sour cream, tomatoes and cilantro were all very fresh and the chorizo was very tasty as well!I highly recommend that you try this food truck it’s awesome!!
Excellent perogies , a little pricey but great food . I took my kids for lunch downtown got the forth last set before they closed. Very pleased say them on Eat St. No complaints
Make some noize for Perogy Boyz!. Perogy Boyz came to our event and were a huge hit! First of all, they were so friendly, enthusiastic and easy to work with – it was a real pleasure to have them. And of course, the fantastic food…I was born and bred in Alberta so I know my perogies. I had the Traditional – they were tender, fresh, and delicious. Just the right combination of textures. The fillings were generous and flavourful. The jalapeno cheese sausage was also excellent! Juicy and not too spicy. I am a pretty good eater, and I thought the portions were generous and well-priced. I was actually surprised at how much food I got for the price. Definitely one of my favourite food trucks. Thanks Perogy Boyz!
