  Food is delicious! They serve up a great mix of Columbian and Mexican selections. Service was subpar. The menu selection is vast for such a small place. They definitely need to think about getting a new location as they almost always have a line of people waiting to get in and the place is old and cramped. Hopefully they can take what they are doing so well to the next step.

  Picaditas is really good! I really liked the flavours of all of the food we ordered and the serving sizes were awesome. It’s a pretty small restaurant so I would not recommend going with groups bigger than 4 people. The meat was dry but I was talking to a friend who had Colombian food in Central America and the States and he said it is suppose to be like this. (We aren’t Colombian so take our words with a grain of salt on this). Nonetheless you get so much food and the flavours, again we’re great and comforting. The service wasn’t that great. We had to almost ask for everything… we had to even ask for water. And the last glass of water literally did not come out until almost lunch ended. We were never asked how we are doing or anything. So do not come in with high expectations on this end. We ordered three dishes and it came out to around $15 a person. I would definitely be back again despite these few gripes.

  We are lucky to have a small restaurant like this in Calgary. The service was great, the food is very good and the desserts were delicious. This is not a fancy restaurant, it is not easy to find and a bit intimidating due to its very industrial location. Please don’t let this stop you from going. We spent a fun evening with a Telenovela on the TV over head. It was like we were back in South America. A great place to practice my Sesame Street Spanish. Do pay attention to opening hours!
