I remember coming here with my coworkers yearssss ago. My two friends and I finished a Chinook shopping spree on Saturday and were craving some pho and I remembered this restaurant, so thought we’d try somewhere different compared to our usual Pho Kim or Pho 88. This is DEFINITELY a restaurant for the white folk, can tell immeditely even just by the asian traditional attire the wait staff wear….(had a quick glance at the positive reviews with photos – nearly all caucasian…)We had a look around and we were definitely the only Asians in the huge restaurant. Not a good sign. lol. It wasn’t your normal casual run of the mill sit down, tray of sauces and chopsticks on the table, it was more upscale than that and the prices reflect. I’d say the spring rolls are normal-ish price, but you can DEFINITELY get a cheaper bun and pho bowl in the city. You can get an XL bowl of pho anywhere else for less than their pho. Don’t get me wrong, the food we had was was decent, just I’d rather go to my local pho house that is more casual that bring the tea, the sprouts, the basil and lime, and unlimited sauces/sauce bowls and napkins lol. I don’t need my pho in a fancy bowl…definitely made for the folk who don’t understand and appreciate the swiftness and casualness of an actual pho restaurant.
I had the noodle bowl #19 and my husband & mother in law both had #20, along with the spring roll appetizer. The bowls were excellent – quality, quantity, and we loooved the spring rolls! My only suggestion would be for them to have more Pho options. Service was excellent as well. We will definitely go back
