Mediocre tea. Although retail shops like Teaopia do the leg work and expose more people to tea. They usually have mediocre tea and unknowledgeable staff. These retail stores focus on marketing gimmicks like ‘weight loss’ and ‘energy’ blends instead of quality teas. Many of them use the same supplier (Metropolitan) and simply re-brand the tea with their own name and logo. Support the local shops. Many of them bring in quality teas, they have knowledgeable staff and each store has a unique character.
NE Tea Stop !. This conveniently located tea shop is right next to the Food Court in Marlborough Mall. Since it opened, I’ve been thrilled with their selection of teas, accessories, and anything else Tea related. Their hot or cold selections may just be what you need on any day. A few options that I’ve tried and like are: Organic Marrakesh Mint, Calming or Sleep Well, and Mojito Raspberry Mint. So many others to choose from. Now, in Market Mall too. What a bonus. Next time you meet up with a friend or feeling a bit tired, stressed, or just cold or hot from the weather. Stop in here and choose your tea. Great staff and good recommendations.
