Went to the restaurant side for dinner with my husband. The server was too busy socializing with customers when we were ready to order. While we were waiting my eyes wandered to the carpets… let’s just say I kind of lost my appetite looking at them. Very dirty and overdue for a cleaning. The starter salad was soggy. I ordered steak medium rare but it was more like medium well. My husband had the same issue. Although the server was apologetic about it, I will never eat here again. The cooks clearly don’t know how to cook a steak and the restaurant has the nerve to call itself a steakhouse.
I went here with 6 family members including my 15 month old. The staff is so friendly and nice! They brought my baby out some fries and gave her a little toy. Onto the food, I got the canneloni. It was very good. Lots of cheese and spinach. A few others ordered the steak and both were done just as they asked. The potatoes were also something that stuck out. Very good the way they did them. Nice garlic flavour.For the quality and portion the price is great. I had leftovers and could have easily made two meals out if what they gave me. For the record it tasted just as good reheated the next day. I would recommend and definitely go back.
We went to Mr Snapps Sept 25 on 36 st , their new location,(the old Pig & Pint). waitress saw us come in, waited too long about 5 minutes for her to come serve us,fish and chips for me,way over done ,close to burnt,fiance ordered steak rare, steak came it was tough,and well done.I have been in here many times when it was a biker/bikini bar, and the food and service was fantastic !Its gone down hill for food, service,and the music Sucked all Heavy Metal Shit. The bar had about 15 patrons all over age of 48, isnt that music for younger people?. I wont be back.
Fantastic. I am very fond of this place. I stopped in for a quick dinner, the food and service were great! The place was super busy. I am allergic to pretty much everything , so the server brought the chef out to I can ask what he puts in the food. I was pleased to find out that all their sauces are made in house . I will be going back . As for the other reviews on here, I would do not understand yor negativity as I did not have a bad time there.
Poor customer service. The new people taking order are incompatant and screw the order up and when it’s brought to therir attention they take no responsibility ….. Won’t eat or order from there again!Cold food delivered and no issue to them !Sad as there is one great bubbly service that we will miss! You know who you are!
Dinner saturday nights. We have been going into schnapps for dinner here and there for the last few years,Gus is amazing, the food is always good , if not GREAT, the service is above and beyond expectation. we were just there last saturday and were pleasantly surprised to see one of our favourite servers back again (Kirsten) very glad to see she not only remembered us BUT our drinks! amazing food and amazing service once again. Best wishes with your schooling Kirsten. We will definitely be back
GREAT STAFF, GREAT FOOD. We have been going to Mr. Schnapps for for several years and we have always had great food and the staff are fantastic. The steaks are excellent, the pasta is fantastic and the veal cutlets are the best I have ever had. Thank you to everyone at Mr. Schnapps.
