So, I’ve been driving by this place for months and decided today was the day. I was greeted immediately. I have never tried Donair Egg Rolls before today. OMG!!!!!! To die for……Also had Haddock Bites, and again, quite good.Over all, I was impressed. I ordered a Large donair…a big mistake……I’m thinking that the only way you could finish a Large in one sitting, is if you’re so hungry, you could eat the ars out of a skunk!!!! Otherwise I think a medium would suffice……. The only thing I would change is to have a place where peeps can dine in instead of just take it out………. Keep up the good work and great customer service, Chastity and Jess
Had been hearing about it for sometime now. Had a good experience the first time. I bought the Donair and my wife got the Fish and chips. We both liked it. Went back a second and and was really looking around the shop this time. Was disappointed to see that the donair meat was being pulled out of the cooler and reheated. At this point, I cancelled my order and walked out. Sorry, That’s not how to serve a Donair.
Great food and great service. The people who work here are so nice and really care about what they are doing ! The place was packed with orders consistently coming in. We tried the garlic fingers add donair meat (I would definitely recommend this)- get donair sauce on the side (it is delicious!). We also got the Scotian special pizza with pepperoni, bacon, green olives, hot peppers, mushroom & green peppers. It came loaded with toppings- delicious every bite. The crust and dough were also great ! And donair egg rolls, they are fantastic !! Would be perfect for a catering event or appetizers at a party ! Thanks for the great service and we look forward to ordering again!
We have gotten scotian style a couple times and most times it has taken too long for delivery. One time it took almost 3 hours and arrived cold. We ordered a donair pizza a couple times and it has always come with donair sauce on the side now they are saying it dose not come with any. We are not going back they are very unprofessional and the drivers have no clue.
If you’re from the East Coast and expecting donairs that you’d get in Halifax you’ll be very disappointed.The donair meat was burnt all along the edges, the onions were under cooked and still hard, the wrap had a weird flavor to it and it was super thin so it just fell apart even though the donair itself was fairly dry the wrap was a soggy mess that fell apart as soon as I picked it up. They had donair sauce that is similar to the east coast stuff but they were very stingy with the sauce.If you’re from Calgary and want to try an East Coast donair then you might like this, it’s different than the other donair places here.
