Really great fried corn tortillas and sauces. However I’m not sure if we just went at an off time, but there was baaaarely any meat in our quesadillas and sopes 🙁

I am so lucky to have found this place. The real quesadillas are like deep fried tacos that are both crunchy and chewy! The cheese is the legit Queso Fresco and the Horchata is great. I’ve also tried the tostadas which are also tasty. There is a Pico DE Gallo, creamy, and spicy salsa which all taste good on their own or together. Great and friendly staff too!

Fresh, delicious, quick and easy. Fresh-adilla is one of the few Mexican joints in calgary to get things right. The food tastes like I remember food tasting in Mexico, and we don’t get that very often here in the great white Cowtown. The owner/operator is a lively lady who obviously takes pride (and rightly so) in the food she serves. I’m so grateful to have friends who know their stuff and can point me to places like Fresh-adilla!

If you are looking for some great handmade right in front of you Quesadillas or Sopes look no further. The owners are friendly and the food speaks for itself. With all the great food experiences in the Market on MacLeod you will find yourself returning here once you get hooked.

Wow, we loved our visit to Fresh-adilla. We took home three quesadillas and thoroughly enjoyed each one. We tried the potato and chorizo on corn, pulled beef on corn and a pulled beef on flour and sampled each of the salsas offered. All were great. It is so nice to have corn tortillas made on the spot and cooked to perfection. And very quickly. Will try the beverages next time. Indeed, we’ll be back. Gracias.

Finally real quesadillas in Calgary, this couple is working hard to bring real mexican flavors wich are awesome, also the SOPES are really good, all their menu it’s 100% Mexican (pulled beef, pulled chicken, mashed potatoes with chorizo, mushrooms, refried beans) and the cherry on top is the Aguas Frescas. Give them a chance and you will love them.

Mexican- real Mexican- food has been improving by leaps and bounds in Canada in recent years, and I just had what, to my experience, is the single best Mexican I’ve ever had in this country. It’s at The Market on Macleod and it’s called Fresh-adilla. They make quesadillas and sopes – no tacos, no burritos – with corn tortillas that they make from fresh masa right in front of you. The quesadilla is stuffed with your choice of things; I got potato and chorizo. It’s then deep fried, then split open and they add crema, queso fresco and a little shredded lettuce. You can top with salsa of you choice. It is spectacular and unlike any Mex I’ve ever had and, the owner (from Mexico City) assures me, completely autentico. Two of these gorgeous things are less than $10 for a very, very good lunch. Amazing.
