We had a groupon and the value was excellent. The service in the bar area was decent, but could be better. I had called ahead to ask for a table for 6 for a birthday and they said no problem. When we got there there were only small tables left, and no one to seat us. The tour was great fun, but I think our night was a bit atypical. The pizza was decent.
Been a few times with friends with a groupon. It’s a fun tour, decent beer. Second time we went they did the beer tasting completely different. First time they put a few bottles on each table we poured and shared second time we formed a line, it was a full house it took forever. Ordering food in the same area as they tour checkins and growler fills is a bit of a shit show. They have a second entrance and bar where they take you to wait for the tour to start that is where everything for the tour and pizza/growler fill should happen, as they seem to have a lot of traffic just for pizza and beer. It’s fun, the sunshine beer is like Corona so I was happy. The blumerssoda is great the kids love it for a treat. We bought and filled a bunch of growler and a case of assorted bottles of pop. Fun time, pizza is average, goes great with the beer though!
We had the coupon — I wouldn’t say the pizza is the best in the city but it’s not bad. It’s tough to argue with free. Same for the beer, it’s decent enough. The place is bright, it’s cozy. But it’s in an industrial park, lol. You actually have to go out of your way to find it. Ravinder hangs in there all the time, and he eats the food. One of the servers said his sister is hot, but told me not to tell anyone. She’s on Dragons Den. Good sign. I might be compelled to pay, but it’s the coupon that keeps us coming back. Definitely worth checking out. The beer is cheap too. I’ve got a few gowlers now, so I’m vested.
Everyone starts out with the ad it seems. We were no different. We were there at opening on a midweek day. We had the Axehead and Bad Hare (if I recall) pizzas and a few of the different beers available. I’m not a huge fan of the Brown but it was acceptable as was the Doe Pee. The wheat beer apparently wasn’t up to snuff, but I didn’t try it personally. I brought home a few sixpacks and as I write this the Sunshine Lager (4.6%) is going down well. For the price, I’d buy it again. The pizzas were both excellent. They are thin crust as others have mentioned and that is my preference. Both were (over) loaded with toppings and tasted great. You do pay at the till as you order, and normally I don’t care for that style of restaurant, but it fits the atmosphere here. Our service was prompt and the lady at the cash talked to us a few times to see what we thought. The bottle beer purchased at site are $5.00. This is just an honest brew pub. I like it, and I’ll be back.
Went there because of the Groupon coupon that shows up every month. Pizza is as good as your local grocery store frozen pizza and I will state that I am not a big mico-beer aficionado but the 2 I tried from their 100 or more on their menu were not to my liking.I went home to Google about their beers as I was wondering how they rate in the beer world, and no wonder I did not find them to my liking. Their beers get pretty much the lowest scores on every beer review website I can find. Next time I’ll save my money, get a take out good pizza somewhere and buy good beer from my store, but to each his own.Cheers,
Good Luck Trying To Make a Reservation. I purchased a Groupon for 4 a few weeks ago. Called & got a machine. Tried a few days later & got a machine but this time left a message and was told by machine I would get a call back. Good Luck a week later no call. Tried again today(2 times). Sorry mailbox full. Looked up an other phone number for the pub called & got a machine. Worst $39.00 I ever spent.
Bad service but cheap beer. The service is slow and not very helpful. If you know what you want its not to bad and the off sales are cheap enough to keep going back and dealing with odd hours because off private parties . Plus they dont take cash only plastic.
