My most frequent place to bulk buy chinese doughnut, egg tarts and tapioca puddings. This is the spot Ill be at during weekend trips to Chinatown. Comparing this to Garden Bakery, this place does egg tarts and brisket noodles so much better- except the rest of their pastries are pretty oily.
I love HK bakery. I could get a lot of buns and other pastries here that you CANNOT get at T&T or other Asian stores. I’d say it’s pretty authentic, my parents and friends who used to live in HK say that their buns & pastries are almost as good as the ones back home. Not to mention their buns are much cheaper than T&T! I hear their cakes are good too but I haven’t tried them.
