Ordered through skip the dishes twice and its so delicious, cheap and fast. Got a combo with tofu viet sub comes with a pop and two spring rolls, got another combo with vegetarian satay chicken(not chicken) comes with a bubble tea. Got the pandan layered steam cake and the steamed taro bun is a must , so soft and lots of filling ! Go, you wont be disappointed!

Loaded footlong v-subs with pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro, hot peppers and various cold cuts. Topped soy sauce, pate, butter and pepper on a freshly toasted baguette all for $4 (tax in). Unbelievable deal and tasty lunch. If you get the one bite of the butter not spread evenly combined with the fatty cold cut it can be a bit too much to take. All in all this spot is on a regular rotation for lunch. Location and atmosphere is not great…but this is definitely a hole in the wall you want to try.

I tried their combo sub the other day. The bread was soft and had a good crunch but it was tasteless. As for the meat, there was four types: bacon roll (no meat, only thick cuts of animal fat), head cheese (lots of pig ears…yes vietnamese head cheese almost always has pig ears…which made it really chewy and too much cartilage to chomp through), vietnamese sausage (no flavour), and pate (no flavour). They didn’t put enough meat, veggies, and mayo. The sub was extremely dry, tasteless and loaded with animal fat. Really not worth spending my money on it. I think I’ll stick to the nhon hoa 2 on 97th. The only reason I tried this place is because they had a sitting area to eat food.

I really like their bread here. I usually don’t get their viet sub anymore and started buying them somewhere else, but their bread is really good. I believe it’s made in-house too. I didn’t really like their pate (or any other sauce they put on) because I found it a little too sweet for my liking. I like it saltier. I would go back if I were in the area and if I had cash (as they are cash only) but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here..

Sandwiches are yummy. Fast service. Cash only. Service is mean. Like really mean. She’s rude and grumpy all the time. But since you’re not really going to sit there and eat, I guess it’s fine.
