I had breakfast here for the fifth time in the last few months yesterday. They pass every time! I ordered the cheese omelette with brown toast and hash browns. The omelette was full of cheese and mushrooms, cooked to perfection. The hash browns were nice and thick, cut from fresh potatoes, and the toast was nice and crisp. This was a $7.50 breakfast and was worth every cent. Yum.
Food was quite good and the girl serving us was very friendly and helpful and efficient. Just wish there weren’t so many questionable people around.
Used to love this place; had not been since the renos and decided to try it again. What a disappointment. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, my old favorite. It was gross, seriously gross. I ate maybe 5 bites and a bite of one meatball. I’m pretty sure they’re sauce was prego based. Even prego is better than this. My husband was disappointed in his meal as well, but not to the same extent. He gloomily ate a good portion of his. When the waiter came he asked it I’d like to box it up. I told him I didn’t eat it because I didn’t like it. He said alright, he’d throw it in the garbage then. Off he went with my untouched meal and returned with the bill. Not even so much as an apology. We will definitely not be going back. YUCK!!!!!
Great food, very fast and fresh. Had the meatball sandwich and could finish it it was so huge! Pizza bread is amazing too and big enough for 4 to share totally.
Really gone down hill. Was there last week with a couple of friends. Had a couple of beer and various meals. Soup, which used to be some of the best in the city, was like wash water.Calamari actually left a puddle of oil on the plate and was so over cooked it was like trying to bite rubber.Dry ribs were OK but are just deep fried frozen ones. The two pastas ordered were bland and contained very little but the pasta. The pizza was OK but probably the most scant of ingredients I have ever seen..might as well have been cardboard for the flavor. This is such a big disappointment, as it was such a great little place to eat before the new owners took over. I have two groupons for it, that expire soon, so will go back and see if I can find something better to eat. Will post on how it turns out.
Delicious. This place was great! The location is pretty sketchy, but the food makes up for it. Resonable prices for lots of food. Will definitely be going back.
My husband and I went there with a groupon considering the location you would assume they would have good Italian food. WRONG!!!! Worst Italian food in town, I would have been more satisfied with Chef Boyardee microwaved than this. Looks like they spent all their money on renovating instead of the menu 🙁
