I have been here multiple times. Once was years ago .. then I went back there a few times recently because my coworkers wanted to.On our first visit, it tasted fine. I actually thought it was decent and wouldn’t mind going back. So, we went back two more times. On our latest visit it was as if they went downhill so suddenly that I don’t understand what happened. We ordered the usual same things we liked ordering but it just tasted bad on that day. After that, I haven’t gone back..Overall it’s a decent HK cafe in Chinatown, but there are many other better ones around Edmonton.
One of my go to Chinese places over the years. This place has such a huge menu for no matter what your craving. Some of my go to dishes are seafood Laksa, beef brisket curry, and salt and pepper squid (huge portion for the price compared to other places in the city). Food comes fast and and…
Really good upper scale Chinese food at not bad prices. I had the curry fish filet with steamed rice for $12.50 and it was amazing. Not too spicy. Love how they’re open late. Menu is super long with so many choices so anyone can find something they like. Service was fast and pleasant. Overall would recommend to anyone who loves Asian cuisine.
Good food, many choices, fast professional service and reasonable prices. Their noodle dishes and deep-fried tofu are best in their category. Baked fish (or chicken) on rice is unique and a Chinese twist on ‘western’ food….. go adventurous and try it!Perfect for large groups, families with children (very kid friendly) and they do delivery too.
Your typical Chinese joint, menu is pages long, mixed with some yummy goodness and some more adventurous type dishes. Service is quick and friendly. The server was more than happy to suggest some of her favorite dishes which is nice once you take a glance at the long and intimidating menu. Every time I hit up one of these restaurants; salty fish and chicken is my go to. This time, chicken definitely was under seasoned. We also tried the fish filet with cream corn sauce…. Will not try again. The deep fried chicken on the other hand was deeeelish, skin was nice and crisp and we asked for the salt and soy sauce dip to get more flavor from the breast.4.5 because it does its job, quick and efficient service while little to basically no wait time to actually get your order in and your food. Missing half a point because not all dishes are always consistent taste wise.
I frequent this restaurant quite a bit. The Spicy Egg Plant is what keeps me coming back! Looks like they are doing more renovations to the outside.. Staff is friendly, food has always been good.
Been here plenty. The staff are nice and the food is good. The restaurant has a really contemporary lay out with plenty of natural lighting. It’s always busy but the service is really good
