A quick lunch stop today in China Town. Clean, quick service and food came out hot. Service is as you would expect, food had some flavour but could have used a bit more….lack of msg I would venture to guess. Ordered the special beef brisket curry on rice special. $12.50, decent serving. Also had the chicken fried rice and ginger beef….tasty and good size portion. Open on tues (lots of china town restaurants are closed). Tables were a bit close together for my liking.

This might have been a happening place on the yesteryear but our meal was lack Lustre and deeply disappointing. For the 2 person meal you get 2 bowls of rice. . A selection of 2 entrees and red bean soup. Our 2 selection were basic garlic fried chicken and shrimp with greens. The chicken was refried and super dry. The prawns were nice but the greens were overcooked. Overall quantity was on small side. The dessert was quite watery. Whole side of resturant was empty. Few stragglers on the one side. Passable but unfortunately we had to have a second dinner later. **** closed due to health regulations***
