Always a good place for authentic pho. The prices are super cheap and the portion is decent size. I always get myself the pho dac biet with a 3 colour drink. You can never go wrong with that!
First time to Pho Tau Bay. Great bowl of pho. Tripe was cooked perfectly. Nice flank. The owners are sweet hearts. Two things to take note of: cash only, close early. I’ll be back.
I wished there was a rating of zero. Been here randomly over the years… the broth has no depth and the quality of the meat SUCKS! The pricing/quantity ratio vs other Pho places SUCKS as well. Wonder if people have had ‘real’ Pho?!?
Been coming here for a long timeI dont know why the owner always a big deal where customers must be seated.I remember backin time when this pho joint was always packed esp. during lunch hours.Seems like they want you to leave right away after your meal because people are waitiing for their turnWell, that is not the case anymore Theres’s lot of empty tables and not much customers as its used to be.Please be courteous to your customers, esp. when you want them to be re seated. No wonder you’re losing customersStop dreaming that your resto will still be packed as it used to be… still good soup tho…
Was excited to try this place from the reviews and from a friends recommendation. I’m not a pho person but was forced to order it as they did not have my favourite bun bo hue. Service was fine but pho was okay, I’ve had better and I was raised in a Cambodian and Vietnamese household so this doesn’t compare one bit. Don’t think I’ll ever return. I think my own pho /parents pho and my fiance parents pho has more flavour and aromatics and meatballs at least and I ordered the pho dac biet, not so special.
By far the best pho in Edmonton! I come here so often it is ridiculous and a bit hard on the wallet, but worth it. A word of caution: they do only sell soup but the soup is all you need. Broth, noodles and meat are all top quality. Try it out, you won’t regret it.
Great pho with a tasty broth. I’ll admit I don’t venture too much in terms of choice of meat in my pho as beef ball is my go-to. Even still, the combination of their broth and the addition of hoisin and sriracha makes a pho that hits the spot every time. Don’t get around to china town as often as I would like but definitely try to stop by when I get an opportunity.
