Went specifically for the Sate soup. $ 9.95 and $10.95 for the large. This family run restaurant is a gem. The owner is very personable as other reviewers have said. Ingredients are prepared on site which was tastefully obvious in our soup dishes. Especially the meatballs. This restaurant had a wonderfully warm ambience that made us feel so welcome. Thanks Xu Hue, it was a pleasure.
The owner is very friendly probably over friendly but he means well. Food is amazing and pretty quick, and of course kid friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this place but if you go try two things the bun xue and the bun bo loc. You won’t be disappointed.
Very good vietnames soup, tasty and hot. This place is run by the owner, therefore when you go there, you will be really looked after. Food was quick and good. The washroom needs a bit of attention, otherwise everything are fine
Great place for Vietnamese food. Delicious noodle soups, vermicelli dishes, and duck salad. I enjoy good quality, family-owned restaurants where the family members are physically present everyday in the creation of the dishes and managing customer service. Food quality has been consistently good. The owners are very personable, friendly, and receptive. Interior could be better. Overall, good experience
Authentic food, can be compared to what we had in Vietnam! And always great service!! Raw Beef Salad one of our family’s favourite; Dumplings just like my Viet born MIL makes; Noodle soups all tasty 🙂
Great food.. Attentive Service… Had the crepe and it was my first time having this delicious treat with a crispy coating with shrimp and pork and other tasty things. Wrap in lettuce… Yummy. Messy but really good. Beef and meatball soup to top it off. All for under 20 bucks with tip and I had a hard time eating it all. Could have shared it for sure. Value for sure. One criticism… Bathroom is not nice.
My girlfriend is Vietnamese and she really likes Xu Hue. They serve a few dishes that are hard to find anywhere else in Edmonton – Banh Xeo, Banh Bot Loc, Bo Tai Chanh! Service is kind and prices very reasonable. We’ve been several times and it’s always been delicious.
