All I can say is disgusting Forget the fact the food never came out in sync. Forget the fact it was Valentines day and you ruined it, Forget the fact a kid had to wait another half an hour for cold food because your waiter forgot his order. My steak was the wrong order. You firstly asked if you can bring the extras on another plate. i said no fix it. You bring the same steak, on another plate, pathetically garnished with cold Avo which was not roasted per your menu. Oh BTW the tomatoes were neither, just cold and oily as well. Fries cold an oily. Kids meals just as disgusting. Also you knew we were getting annoyed because you kept harassing us asking if all is OK. Oh may I mention we got our food with no eating utensils. Waiter became even more friendly at payment time. What we plan to do in the evening has nothing to do with you. Please deliver and be real with service!! Thank you for ruining a Valentines evening.
I’ll give this restaurant 3.5 for good service. It still has a lot of work to do on food though (new location). Only Egg rolls were good & they were free (you can get the coupon when you sign up for their newsletter online). Chicken burrito was extremely salty, luckily server noticed that I had a hard time eating the burrito so he offered to get me something else. I then tried their fresco salad with chicken enchilada soup (which were okay). My colleague had the chicken cajun penne pasta and he thought that was okay too, definitely could’ve tasted better. Anywho, service was commendable – server/manager took care of my bill as I couldn’t eat the burrito due to it being salty (he noticed and offered to take care of the bill). Portions were big, wasn’t busy on lunch hour. Its still fairly new so I hope it picks up pace soon & makes better tasting food.
Went here last weekend, ended up walking out. The restaurant was only 1/4 full and the hostess said she had to clean a table and for us to wait. 10-15 mins passed and we were still standing at the door waiting with a restaurant full of empty tables!! Walked out and went to BP’s and were greeted and seated within a minute.
Ewww.New location and wanted to try. (Previously tried the 16th Ave location…. 1/5 as well)Had the Enchiladas…uggh.I love fried foods, however Enchiladas that were almost gray and look as if they were refried a number of times were grossss. I’m not picky, and have only ever complained twice about food, but this was just not okay, especially for $18 plus drinks. Manager offered a dessert and it was almost as bad as the enchiladas.Gross. Will not go back.Server was nice though.
Review removed. I reviewed Chili’s back in Oct of 2014 and somehow my review was removed. We didn’t like our burgers they were a soggy mess and slow, I remember feeling that the salsa was very common tasting. Our server was power tripping with whatever her role was being rude to other employees hollaring commands to them from across the bar, being short with the hostess. The staff did not seem happy. We’ve been to chilis in the US and really enjoyed it. This was such a huge disappointment and downer. I also did not like being asked to fill out a survey, managers if you want to know how your staff is doing get on the floor, walk around the passage way. (there was no ‘real’ manager in site)Cute restaurant bad vibe, bad food. Even now I’ve never seen the parking lot fill up during dinner times.
Fairly uncomfortable. Chilis is not a big place. Chilis is somewhere I expected to go with my family for a casual night out w/ kids. The location it self is very family friendly… But the servers are not. When you go out with your family you expect to have friendly service from happy servers. We were sat near one of the stations where servers ring in orders. Our server seemed friendly… At first.. Over the course of the meal we could hear her complain to other servers about our table and her other ones. She then proceed to state she hates working here and in much more vile terms said everyone I work with is stupid. I will not repeat what she literally said. She seemed bothered every time she came to our table and frequently complained she wasn’t bar tending . Overall will not return due to her and her horrible attitude toward your location.
Its a Chilis, so don’t expect gourmet. I’ve been generally pleased with this location : good service, consistent food. Love the boneless wings and jalepeno cheese bites. The rice bowls and enchilladas are always consistently good.
