I really really enjoy the food here and currently they have a 3$ happy hour on Friday evenings!! Huge fan of there Cajun chicken sandwiches and Hunan kung pow but I do find there drink list to be priced high.. with the good service provided, it’s somewhat hard to disagree with.
Not the best Earls I’ve been to and I’ve been to quite a few. I find the food here very inconsistent. Sometimes great, sometimes really bad. Service is marginal. But they do have a great happy hour menu and cool ambiance.
Solid location. I’ve been here a few times and for the most part everything is tasty. I am a big fan of the appetizers. The service is good as well.
I have never physical been here so cannot comment on service, just on food. I ordered their vegetarian burger (formerly their forager burger) as I have had poor experiences in the past with many restaurants on over cooking their beef patties for their burgers. I figured this couldn’t be over cooked and I love mushrooms. The patty was seasoned nicely and was moist inside. The other ingredients worked well with the burger and the brioche bun topped it off nicely. Their fries are also good. Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and had a good amount of seasoning on them. Could definitely see myself stopping in to see what the place looks like.
The interior of this Earls has great texture and the rows of suspended Edison lamps are very cool. We came for appys and enjoyed the panko breaded chicken tenders with plum sauce and shoestring fries served on a cutting board. The nachos with chipotle chicken and avocado was quite tasty but their version of guacamole is a little thin. It’s basically an half avocado set in a small metal bowl of pico de gallo… we smushed it together with a fork but it was quite runny. I’d avoid it as the nachos really stand on their own with sour cream and thin sliced jalapeos and diced tomatoes. The hot wings were decent but everything arrived at the table a little under temperature – perhaps as they waited under the lights for all the dishes to come at once. We tried a nifty strawberry and soda cooler and It was refreshing and, to our hot wing munching delight, bottomless. I’d recommend it (I am told they often serve it with Sprite also). All in all I found it a very pleasant atmosphere and I’d return to try their mains but I have high expectations for hot food to be hot when it arrives table side, so I was a little disappointed.
Been here several times. Last visit was yesterday for lunch. Its always busy during lunch hours. So I recommend making a reservation especially if you want to sit out on the patio. Service can definitely get better. I ordered the chicken fig & brie sandwich with their green salad. The sandwich was good but the salad was horrible! It was dry and it only had lettuce (no pecans or the additions it usually comes with). I couldn’t eat the salad, I told the server that their salad is something that needs to be worked on and that itused to taste much better before. Instead of taking the salad off of my bill, she charged me for it. I asked her to take it off of my bill and the manager had to come down to authorize that, like seriously! and furthermore, they only took $1.75 off of the bill. I don’t know if i’ll be going here again!
Terrible service, I won’t be going back. Went for lunch and it wasn’t terribly busy. I’m not sure if our server was new but she was not good. My friend ordered a coffee and after 5 minutes she came back saying they were brewing a fresh pot, which is fair. Our food came and my friend got part of her salad spilt on her lap. Mine came and she spilt part of my soup on the table. Said sorry and walked away. Didn’t offer to clean it up or bring napkins. We asked about the coffee and she said they were out of clean mugs. Food was average, definitely won’t be going back.
