I would rate golden national the best Chinese restaurant in Calgary, food fresh, excellent selection, healthy great food food and the best service I have had in all my visits to Calgary. As an ex customer service director I notice good customer service and this is the best around. One unusual thing I noticed was that having praised Lucy , I think the manager, for their service, she was so pleased and slightly emotional, showing how much being recognised for good service means to THEM !!! Well done….John
Go elsewhere.Placed an order,they said it would be an hour. I called 2 more times,once at an hour and 15 minutes and another at 1 hour and 40 minutes.Both times they said it was on the way.It arrived 2 hours and 5 minutes after placing the order. The second time I was trying to cancel as I felt it would arrive cold.They assured me that was not the case,it would be hot. Guess what? It was cold, bland and poor.And I am not real fussy.And its a 10 minute drive easily for the driver.
Saltiest Chinese food I’ve ever had! I’m not sure if the chef was having an off day but the whole meal was ruined. We tried this the one Time for take out and never tried again.
I ordered 4 items from here for pick up and when I pay the bill after I got home I reviewed the charges 2 items were overcharged. Also I’ve eating here about 4 times and each time it’s been worse then before. No more for me
Golden national. When I’m craving Chinese food golden national is the only place I will go for delicious Chinese cuisine. Employees treat you like family and always have smiles on there faces. Every time Im craving Chinese food I always come to the golden national for the best quality food and the best customer service. The employees treat you like part of the team and the food is to die for. Wouldn’t eat anywhere else in Calgary. Highly recommend it to anyone in the mood for Chinese.
