I have been to this Montana’s quite a few times and have had very mixed experiences. I really do like coming for AYCE ribs. The ribs are always cooked well and the sauce is delicious. The one time I ordered the roasted chicken it came to table undercooked. The waitress was happy to bring me a new one, only to find the second one slightly raw as well. By the time I would have received a, hopefully cooked, third chicken my family would have been finished eating so I left hungry instead. The service has always been touch and go when it gets busy as it usually does. Not a bad restaurant but not near the top of my list in the area.
Me and my girlfriend came here for takeout. Had a few drinks at the bar in the meantime. The bartender was super friendly and on a busy Friday night, served us within minutes. He was very fast and efficient. The staff is prompt, friendly and professional! We will definitely keep ordering from this location! Thanks guys!!
On Saturday February 4th 2017, I went to meet some friends who were finishing up a meal at Montana’s on 130th Ave SE. All was going well when a friend of ours (who was working there) informed me that I had to leave the premises immediately as the manager was in fact kicking me out. As a former employee who was let go for reasons that was never disclosed to me, I feel racially discriminated against. I have never been treated this poorly and find it unjust and frankly petty. There is more I could say but my goal is NOT to slander the company, but rather to let you all know that the Montana’s on 130th is ran by a prejudiced, unprofessionalism and unscrupulous people. You are better off eating anywhere else.
Went here for my birthday and had the worst ribs I have ever had. Tough and very little meat on them. My wife had fish and chips that she said was cooked very well and seemed to be a generous serving. But, the fish was too greasy to Finnish her plate. Cost $100.00, tip included, won’t go here again.
It is an amazing restaurant. I went there with my friend and it was her birthday, so the staff got everyone to sing happy birthday for her. Other than that the food was really tasty, I got the rib, and it was the best rib I’ve ever had in my life. I totally recommend Montana’s!
This place was really bad! Sure the nachos are the size of a hub cap but they have very little cheese or toppings on them service was terrible stay away from here.Not sure if other Montanas location are any better?
Excited to try their new Smoked House ribs. Went in with my son on Father’s Day , they were out of ribs!!Selected the Brisquet burger and must saw it was the best burger I have had in years. My son’s Canadian Burger was dry and lack any type of LOVE.Ordered two Shock Top beer was served without an orange. I asked the server why they didn’t serve it with oranges, seemed to be a mystery to him.Overall service was mediocre, food was better then before but extremely disappointed that they had no ribs. The company as spent millions on advertising their new smokehouse concept and low and behold no ribs on Father’s Day!!!!!!
