Mistake. Salmon overcooked and tough, ribs overcooked and tough, mushy broccoli. Had guests so did not complain. Wish I had read the reviews before going. Will not return. Bill offers Onion Loaf for completing survey, no directions or survey code. Doesn’t matter, I don’t want an onion loaf after reading reviews. No wonder it was not busy, too many other good restaurants in area.
One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. Family and friends decided to go for ribs at Tony Roma’s around 7pm. One of the meals ordered was the prime rib Roma size which was requested to come out as medium rare to rare. The prime rib came out as well done and when brought to the waiter’s attention, we were told that the prime rib had been cooking since 4pm and prime rib does not come out medium rare. The waiter became defensive when the feedback was given. The manager then came and also refused to acknowledge the mistake or apologize. We will never eat here again due to the poor food quality and poor managerial service. Beware of this restaurant.
Service was great. Food was extremely disappointing . Onion loaf was desiccated onion spirals. Sent back my moms beef ribs. The ribs were burnt and bitter tasting. Replacement plate had one out of the three ribs burnt just as bad. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. Arrived overdone. The explanation from manager is that the beef cooks all day, so it’s impossible to guarantee medium rare. Really?!? We were eating at 5:30 pm, and no they couldn’t replace my order because they were now out of prime rib. Had to order a New York strip instead. Was cooked correctly. Overall, extremely disappointing experience and will not be returning. We loved the food and service at the now closed McLeod trail-Glenmore location.
No Problem’s Here. The three of us choose to have our Valentines Day dinner at TONY ROMA’s on 130th Ave SE. After reading a bunch of bad reviews, I went into it with pretty low expectations. But truth be told – all of us enjoyed the experience. The server was prompt and attentive, the order was taken quickly and the food arrived in due time. This isn’t a five star restaurant but I’ve certainly been to other establishments who claim to be (and charge) far more for far less. The portions were large enough to feel satisfied and everything tasted great – the beef ribs were above average and decadent desserts were to die for….all in all, a very nice meal.
Shove your Service Charge FEE. Just a warning to all the people who make a reservation for a large party of 10 or more people, an 18% service charge was added to our bill without warning or apology. As far as I am concerned, the service charge was in place of a tip, and tips are for quality service and food at the discretion of the customer after the meal is served… and are NEVER MANDATORY! Shame on you Tony Roma’s! Unfortunately, I paid the service charge like the other lambs being led to slaughter with only a quiet objection, not wanting to sound cheap in front of the other dinner guests. On to the food. I ordered the Rib Eye steak, which came to the table over seared, blackened and dry. Not worth the $32 price tag at all. In retrospect, I guess this is a rib and chicken joint so I will order chicken or ribs if I ever return, and that is a big IF. Go to The Keg for a real steak.
For the price you pay. Not worth it. They can even get an order right over the phone. I can get more fries at Wendy’s if I order a small and they taste better. They give you these big boxs you think your getting a meal but when you open the box it won’t even feed a small kidNot happy
There’s a difference between bad service and no service. Took over an hour for 2 kids meals, a chicken finger plate and a salad. The salad was a 16 dollar plate with no meat, just lettuce. Terrible. Food wasn’t good either. Never was offered another drink by our server. Tables around us seemed to be getting served but we were constantly ignored. Not at all impressed
